Pavelic, Myfanwy (Spencer)

PAVELIC, Myfanwy (Spencer), artist (b 27 Apr 1916, Victoria; d there 7 May 2007). Her grandfather was the founder of Spencer's department store in VICTORIA and she lives on the family's large property, Spencerwood, near SIDNEY on VANCOUVER ISLAND. While she was a teenager her paintings impressed Emily CARR, who organized an exhibition of her work in 1934.
