Pinchi Lake


PINCHI LAKE, 135 km northwest of PRINCE GEORGE, is in the traditional territory of the Tl'azt'en, a DAKELH (Carrier) subgroup. There are 4 Tl'azt'en villages (total pop 1,500): Pinchi (Binche) and Tachie (Tache) are on Stuart Lk (Nak'al Bun); Grand Rapids (K'uzche) is on the Tachie R; and MIDDLE RIVER (Dzitl'ainli) is on Trembleur Lk (Dzingha Bun).
