Pink Mountain

PINK MOUNTAIN, 135 km northwest of FORT ST JOHN, is a roadside settlement at Historic Mile 143 of the ALASKA HWY. There are a number of TOURISM facilities here and some good FISHING and hiking nearby. Several large ranches (see CATTLE INDUSTRY) are located to the south. The name comes from the colour of rocks in the vicinity.
