Pipelines


PIPELINES carry oil and natural gas from the fuel-producing northeast corner of BC and from Alberta to populated areas in the central and southern Interior of BC and the Lower Mainland. BC has about 24,570 km of pipeline. Since 1953 TRANS MOUNTAIN PIPE LINE CO LTD has been bringing Alberta oil to southern BC via KAMLOOPS.
