WESTCOAST ENERGY INC, based in VANCOUVER, has interests across N America as well as international projects in Mexico and Asia. It was founded as Westcoast Transmission in 1949 by Frank McMAHON to build a PIPELINE from his gas-producing properties in the PEACE R area to southern BC and the US.
