Prespatou

PRESPATOU, 75 km north of FORT ST JOHN at the northern limits of the PEACE R district, is a grain-farming and cattle-ranching district with a store, gas station and 2 churches. It was formed in 1963 by a group of MENNONITES. About 400 people live in the area and at the neighbouring community of ALTONA.
