Queen Margaret's School


QUEEN MARGARET'S SCHOOL, one of BC's most venerable private schools, was founded in DUNCAN in 1921 by Nora Denny, a front-line nurse during WWI who had recently arrived on VANCOUVER ISLAND, and Dorothy Geoghegan, a local teacher. The school has about 250 students, 95 of whom are boarders. It is co-educational at the junior (kindergarten to grade 7) level with a girls-only high school.
