Richards, George Henry


RICHARDS, George Henry, naval surveyor (b Feb 1819, Cornwall, England; d 14 Nov 1896, Bath, England). He entered the Royal Navy as a teenager and served around the world, including the Arctic, where in the 1850s he took part in the search for the missing Franklin expedition.
