Sea Island


SEA ISLAND, 14.32 sq km, at the mouth of the north arm of the FRASER R, is one of the Fraser delta islands south of VANCOUVER that comprise RICHMOND. Settlement began in the 1860s when Hugh McRoberts began a farm, called Richmond View, which grew to become the largest in the British Empire (see AGRICULTURE).
