Shearwater

SHEARWATER, on the north side of Denny Island (132 sq km), east of BELLA BELLA in the heart of the INSIDE PASSAGE, was the site of an air force base from 1938 to 1947. After WWII it was developed by Andy Widsten as a marine resort. There is a marina, hotel, boatyard and other facilities for mariners.
