Sinixt

SINIXT are a small group of Interior SALISH people from the Slocan Valley, also known as the ARROW LKS band or FIRST NATION. They were almost extinguished by disease in the 19th century and many lived south of the US border, so that when the last registered Canadian band member died the federal government declared them extinct in 1956.
