SWIFT is a SWALLOW-like bird, related to the HUMMINGBIRD. It has dull-coloured plumage, a very small bill and feet, and long, slender pointed wings. The swift is known for its great speed and acrobatics in flight. It feeds on the wing, chasing a variety of flying INSECTS.
