TALON BOOKS LTD (Talonbooks) is a book publisher founded in VANCOUVER in 1967 by David Robinson, Jim Brown and others, emerging from the literary MAGAZINE Talon. Under the direction of Robinson and Karl Siegler, who joined the company in the early 1970s, Talonbooks became the leading publisher of Canadian plays, in addition to fiction, poetry, ethnography and other genres.
