TAYLOR, Jim, journalist (b 16 Mar 1937, Nipawin, SK; d 7 Jan 2019, Shawnigan Lake). He began his NEWSPAPER career in VICTORIA as a sports reporter with the Daily Colonist, but it was as a daily columnist in VANCOUVER with the VANCOUVER SUN and the PROVINCE from 1971 to 1995 that he won recognition as one of the finest sports writers in the country.
