THESEN, Sharon, poet, teacher (b 1 Oct 1946, Tisdale, SK). She graduated from SFU in 1974 with an MA in English and 2 years later became an instructor in the department of English at Capilano COLLEGE in N VANCOUVER. Her first book of poems, Artemis Hates Romance, appeared in 1980 and was followed by 9 more collections. Two of her books have been shortlisted for GOV GEN'S LITERARY AWARDS.
