Top of the World Provincial Park


TOP OF THE WORLD PROVINCIAL PARK, 87.91 sq km, lies high in the Kootenay ranges of the ROCKY MTS east of KIMBERLEY. Mt Morro (el 2,912 m), the highest point in the park, is one of several spectacular peaks. FIRST NATIONS people traditionally visited to find chert, a rock they used to manufacture tools and weapons. Today the park (est 1973) is known particularly for sport FISHING.
