TROWER, Peter, logger, writer (b 25 Aug 1930, St Leonards-on-Sea, England; d 10 Nov 2017, North Vancouver). He came to Canada with his widowed mother and a brother in 1940 and settled in the pulp mill community of PORT MELLON. He left school before graduation and for the next 22 years worked at a variety of jobs, mainly in coastal LOGGING camps.
