VANCOUVER MILLIONAIRES were original members of BC's first professional HOCKEY league, the PACIFIC COAST HOCKEY ASSOC. Managed and coached by Frank PATRICK, they played their first game on 5 Jan 1912 in the new Denman Arena, the world's largest skating arena and N America's second largest sports facility. Patrick regularly filled the 10,500 seats after he signed scoring sensation Fred "Cyclone" TAYLOR. In 1915 the Millionaires won the league championship and western Canada's first Stanley Cup....
