West Moberly Lake

WEST MOBERLY LAKE is a DUNNE-ZA (Beaver) community at the west end of MOBERLY LK, 20 km north of CHETWYND in the PEACE R district. The local FIRST NATION dates back to 1977 when it was one of 2 bands created out of the former Hudson Hope band. At midsummer the community celebrates Treaty Days to commemorate the 1899 signing of TREATY NO 8.
