WIGWAM INN  () is a 40-room lodge built at the head of INDIAN ARM. B.F. Dickens purchased the land in 1906, planning a luxury lodge and cottage resort. Alvo von ALVENSLEBEN joined him as a partner in 1910, the year the first guests arrived. The grounds were terraced and emulated a German beer garden.
