WOODWARD, or Woodward's Landing, was an early AGRICULTURAL settlement on LULU ISLAND, 18 km south of VANCOUVER in the City of RICHMOND. It was named for Nathaniel Woodward, who settled here in 1874, and later became the site of a maintenance and repair depot for BC FERRY CORP.
