Cheney Point

Cheney Point (52˚12'24" 128˚28'01" W side of Athlone I, Milbanke Sd, W of Bella Bella). Martha Beeton Cheney (1835–1911) arrived at Victoria from England in 1851 with her aunt and uncle, Ann and Thomas Blinkhorn (see Beeton Point, Blinkhorn Peninsula). Together with Capt James Cooper they established Metchosin’s pioneer Bilston Farm.
