ARMSTRONG, Jeannette Bonneau, writer (b 1948, Penticton). A member of the OKANAGAN First Nation, she grew up on a RESERVE at PENTICTON and later graduated from the UNIV OF VICTORIA. She has studied traditional teachings with Okanagan elders and co-founded the aboriginal WRITING school at the EN'OWKIN CENTRE in Penticton, where she has served as director.
