Beaver Creek

BEAVER CREEK, 10 km northwest of PORT ALBERNI on VANCOUVER ISLAND, is at the centre of a rich farming district (see AGRICULTURE) beside the Stamp R. The area was settled and cleared in the 1880s and became important to the development of Port Alberni.
