Chezacut

CHEZACUT  () , north of PUNTZI LAKE 140 km west of WILLIAMS LAKE, is a remote ranching and trapping district in the CHILCOTIN. The TSILHQOT'IN people lived here until the 1930s, when they moved to REDSTONE. The name means "birds without feathers," referring to Chilcotin Lk, where geese go to moult.
