Churn Creek

CHURN CREEK Protected Area, 360 sq km, is on the west side of the FRASER R south of the GANG RANCH. Established in 1994, it includes the historic EMPIRE VALLEY RANCH, purchased by the province in 1998. The preserve protects a unique GRASSLANDS ecosystem along with the habitat of several threatened animal species.
