Coburn

COBURN, 17 km south of NANAIMO on VANCOUVER ISLAND, was a station on the ESQUIMALT & NANAIMO RWY. It was named after John W. Coburn, who operated the Ladysmith Lumber Co SAWMILL at this location in the early 1900s and became the first mayor of LADYSMITH.
