Craigs Crossing

CRAIGS CROSSING, 27 km northwest of NANAIMO on VANCOUVER ISLAND, where the old and new Island highways diverge, was a station on the ESQUIMALT & NANAIMO RWY. It was named after J. Craig, early settler and first postmaster, and eventually became known simply as Craig. A number of local 19th-century buildings have been moved here to Craig Heritage Park.
