Culver, Daniel George

CULVER, Daniel George, mountaineer (b 12 June 1952, Vancouver; d 7 July, 1993). The fifth Canadian to reach the top of Mt Everest and one of the first Canadians (with Jim HABERL) to climb K2, he became the only Canadian to have reached the summits of Earth's 2 highest mountains.
