DEBECK family, originally from France, migrated to the US and then to New Brunswick as United Empire Loyalists. In 1867 George DeBeck, along with 4 sons, 3 daughters and their husbands, moved to BC and homesteaded on LULU and SEABIRD islands at the mouth of the FRASER R.
