ESPERANZA INLET is a narrow channel on the west coast of VANCOUVER ISLAND connecting the outer coast to Zeballos Inlet and TAHSIS Inlet, both at the north end of Nootka Island. Traditionally it was occupied by the Nuchatlaht and Ehattesaht, two NUU-CHAH-NULTH nations, and both still have villages in the area.
