FERGUSON is an abandoned townsite in the LARDEAU country east of Upper ARROW LK. One of several communities founded during the SILVER mining boom of the 1890s, it was a supply centre for MINING high in the mountains north of Trout Lk. When the boom collapsed before WWI, most residents moved away.
