GARRISH, Arthur Ross, fruit grower (b 1 June 1915, Estevan, SK; d 30 Mar 1996, Oliver). He settled in OLIVER in 1932 at the age of 17 and worked in a local orchard before purchasing his own property. He was elected secretary of the local branch of the BC FRUIT GROWERS' ASSOCIATION (BCFGA) in 1936.
