GULF OF GEORGIA CANNERY is a national historic site on the STEVESTON waterfront near the mouth of the FRASER R. Built in 1894 by the Gulf of Georgia Canning Co, it was expanded by new owners in 1895 to become the second-largest cannery in BC. The CANADIAN FISHING CO bought it in 1926.
