Halcyon Hot Springs

HALCYON HOT SPRINGS are the HOT SPRINGS on the east side of Upper ARROW LK, 35 km north of NAKUSP, known to the FIRST NATIONS from early times as "the Great Medicine Waters." Robert Sanderson staked the springs in 1889 and formed a consortium to develop the property. The partially completed spa passed into the hands of Mr and Mrs Macintosh, who erected a solarium and bottling works in 1898.
