ILLECILLEWAET GLACIER () lies high in the SELKIRK MTS in GLACIER NATIONAL PARK west of ROGERS PASS. The name comes from an OKANAGAN Nation word meaning "rushing water." The CPR ran GLACIER HOUSE at the base from 1886 to 1925. The site is visible from the TRANS-CANADA HWY and accessible by trail.
