INTERMEDIA (1967–72) was a loose association of artists working in VANCOUVER in a variety of media who combined to exchange ideas and stage events. The idea grew out of a series of meetings initiated by Jack SHADBOLT and others in 1967; it became a more official entity the following year when it moved to a building on Beatty St and appointed Werner Aellen as director.
