Millstream

MILLSTREAM is an AGRICULTURAL and residential suburb of VICTORIA 13 km northwest of the city. Mill Stream itself flows south into ESQUIMALT Harbour and was the site of the first SAWMILL on VANCOUVER ISLAND, built in 1847 by Roderick FINLAYSON of the HBC. A lime kiln also operated in the region in the early 1890s.
