NEELY, Cam, hockey player (b 6 June 1965, Comox). He was one of the NHL's premier power forwards of the late 1980s and early 1990s. He moved from BC to Moose Jaw, SK, developing his HOCKEY skills there before his family returned to live in MAPLE RIDGE where he had a brilliant season with the local midget team. As a junior he played for the Portland Winter Hawks of the WHL, scoring a hat trick in the Memorial Cup final to crown them as the first US team to win the Canadian junior championship....
