PACIFIC FOREST PRODUCTS LTD began as Pacific Logging Co in 1962 to manage timberland acquired by the CPR when it purchased the ESQUIMALT & NANAIMO RWY on eastern VANCOUVER ISLAND. Although it operated primarily as a forest management and market LOGGING company on 1,258 sq km of private land, Pacific Logging acquired interests in several Island SAWMILLING operations.
