PANDOSY, Charles, Roman Catholic missionary (b 22 Nov 1824, Marseilles, France; d 6 Feb 1891, Penticton). He went to the Oregon Territory in 1847 as an OBLATE missionary and worked among the Yakima Indians until 1858, when he moved to VANCOUVER ISLAND with instructions to open a mission in southern BC.
