Pioneer Line


PIONEER LINE of PADDLEWHEEL STEAMBOATS was founded in 1862 by William IRVING and was carried on after his death in 1872 by his son John IRVING. The company's main business was running a regular service between NEW WESTMINSTER and YALE on the FRASER R, though it did branch out to the STIKINE R with little success in 1874–75.
