ROSEBERY, 4 km northeast of NEW DENVER on SLOCAN LK, was a CPR shipyard and rail barge terminus and a station on the Nakusp & Slocan Rwy. Tref Nault, an early logger in the NAKUSP area, cleared the townsite in 1893, and a SAWMILL and concentrator were built.
