SECHELT  () , or Shishalh Nation, are Northern Coast SALISH who occupied the SUNSHINE COAST north of VANCOUVER, from Gower Point near GIBSONS to SALTERY BAY in JERVIS INLET. At contact with Europeans they occupied some 80 scattered seasonal village sites.
