Squamish River


SQUAMISH RIVER  () flows south from its headwaters in the COAST MTS to empty into the head of HOWE SOUND at the city of SQUAMISH. Its main tributaries are the CHEAKAMUS and Elaho rivers. It drains a watershed of about 3,200 sq km, a heavily logged area that was the traditional territory of the SQUAMISH First Nation.
