Cheakamus River


CHEAKAMUS RIVER  () flows out of the lake of the same name located in GARIBALDI PROVINCIAL PARK north of VANCOUVER. The river snakes down out of the high mountains, then swings south to flow via Daisy Lk and Paradise Valley to its confluence with the SQUAMISH R near BRACKENDALE. Hwy 99 and the BC RAIL main line both follow the river for much of the way between SQUAMISH and WHISTLER. Its clear, turbulent flow makes it a popular destination...
