WINE MAKING INDUSTRY in BC has grown enormously in size and sophistication since the first wineries began producing loganberry wine in the 1920s. The industry is associated with the OKANAGAN VALLEY but there are also wineries on VANCOUVER ISLAND and in the Fraser Valley.
