Brandywine Falls

BRANDYWINE FALLS, at 61 m the seventh-highest WATERFALL in BC, is the centrepiece of Brandywine Falls Provincial PARK (1.43 sq km), nestled between the highway to WHISTLER and the BC RAIL track 37 km north of SQUAMISH. The story goes that 2 members of a railway survey crew in 1910 wagered a bottle of brandy against a bottle of wine over the height of the falls. The loser lost his brandy but won the right to name one of the most scenic roadside attractions in southern BC.
