Carrolls Landing

CARROLLS LANDING, a fruit and vegetable farming (see AGRICULTURE) settlement 25 km south of NAKUSP on the east side of the COLUMBIA R between Upper and Lower ARROW LKS, was submerged when the KEENLEYSIDE DAM raised water levels. It was named for Mike Carroll, a local landowner. A post office operated here from 1938 to 1968.
