CEEPEECEE is a former fish plant site at the head of ESPERANZA INLET not far from TAHSIS on the west coast of VANCOUVER ISLAND. The name refers to the Canadian Packing Corp Ltd, which built a reduction plant at the site in 1926 to take advantage of the appearance of swarms of pilchard (see SARDINE, PACIFIC) on the coast.
